A music tool by AI perfectible but …spectacular
LoudMe is not free of flaws and some weak spots, but it remains an amazing example of the endless possibilities opened up by AI.
Among the weak points of this solution:
- Improveable audio quality, lower than professional productions
- Limited customisation and editing options (but largely sufficient for occasional use )
And then its use by students requires, as for all AI tools, to make them aware that AI can reproduce elements of existing pieces. Students should also be encouraged to use AI as a tool to stimulate their creativity, but not as a substitute for their own artistic expression. It goes without saying, but it goes better by saying it.
