Here is a small free and free application to offer your students a Sudoku game that is easy to set up and use.
We would like to thank Hervé Allesant, a digital teacher at the Aix-Marseille Academy. Through him, let us salute all the ERUNs in France and Navarre who are breaking loose to support the use of digital reasoning at school.

Play Sudoku at school
Sudoku offers many educational benefits for primary school students. First, it stimulates cognitive development by promoting problem-solving, concentration and memorisation.
Children have to use different reflection processes to complete the grids, which strengthens their capacity for analysis and abstraction.
In addition, the classic Sudoku game encourages logical and mathematical thinking, familiarizing students with numbers in a playful way. A game-based approach to developing Mathematical Skills essential.
Adapting the difficulty of Sudoku to the age of students
To adapt Sudoku to the age of the students, start with simplified 4×4 or 6×6 grids for the youngest, before gradually moving to the standard 9×9 grids.
Do not hesitate to replace the numbers with drawings or colors for the youngest children, making the game more accessible and attractive. Sudoku 2000 by Hervé Allesant offers several versions.
Sudoku 2000. Grids of various levels of difficulty and different themes
The interface of Sudoku 2000 is clear and devoid of distractions. You must start by choosing the difficulty by opting for a size 3X3 or 9X9, then a simple, normal or difficult difficulty.

Once you have chosen the size and difficulty, you have a drop-down menu that allows you to choose a theme. You have the choice between numbers, of course, but you can also choose letters or Sudokus with pretty drawings on the themes of emotions, fruits, garden or weather. Nice to meet you.
Once the grid is filled in by the student, the incorrect boxes are displayed in red. A congratulatory message rewards the player in case of a resolved grid.
Sudoku 200 is free. You can play online or download the app locally. In this case, you will have to extract the Zip and open the index.html file in a browser.
