Qikipedia is a mischievous little Chrome browser extension that allows to have Wikipedia on hand on any web page.

Wikipedia has become one of the leading collaborative encyclopedias on the net for several years now. Its development is exponential. Its shelves contain millions of articles in perpetual evolution thanks to the contributions of hundreds of thousands of wikinauts.
A young developer had the good idea to find a way to put this huge knowledge base at your fingertips from any web page.
Once the Qikipedia extension is installed on your Chrome browser, it will be enough to highlight a word in the text to see appear a small card with its definition on Wikipedia. Ingenious and practical.

Qikipedia displays an excerpt from the article on Wikipedia. If you wish, you can consult the full article with one more click.
Qikipedia allows you to select a word but also a group of words. (up to seven words in all). The search is quick and the result is displayed immediately. The extension supports several languages, including French. To configure it, you must go once installed in the preferences of the extension.

A clever extension to put all the knowledge of Wikipedia at the click of a button.
Qikipedia is still in development, it is completely free.
