Vizia is a convenient online service that will allow you toinsert quizzes, questions and other surveys into a video.
An interesting tool for Interactivity in your videos by involving the learner. Among the many advantages of Vizia is its ease of use. No complicated editing software. You only need to indicate the video URL on YouTube once you have registered on the service. (For the moment Vizia only works with YouTube ).
The platform will retrieve your video and display it in your Vizia account. From there it is child’s play to punctuate the video with quizzes, questions or surveys of any kind.
Just play the video and click where you want to insert an interaction. Three types of questions are possible: quiz, survey or open-ended question. Once validated, the point will appear on the timeline of the video. You can insert as many questions and interactions as you want. With one click you can preview your video with all the questions before sharing it.
To share it, Vizia provides you with a unique URL that you can send by email or on social networks. You also have the option to insert this interactive video into your website or blog with a specific code provided by the platform.
Once broadcast you will see on the Vizia dashboard the number of people who have answered your various questions. You will be able to retrieve all results in .csv or Excel format. Answers are anonymous by default, but you can click on the ‘Gate quiz results’ option to force the respondent to indicate their no, first name and email address.
An excellent simple and practical tool in which you will be able to keep all your videos once created.
Best for last, Vizia is free and without any advertising. It will even remove ads from YouTube when importing the video you want to make interactive. Oh, owl.

Including quizzes in a video is a very good idea. However, on Vizia, I am not sure that Youtube allows overlaying and deleting advertising! This is contrary to their terms of use. In addition, it should be noted that the quizzes are only visible from the Vizia player. In other words, quizzes are not visible from Youtube. Other actors have already tried to do this and then had to close down. Beware of the durability of the 😉 solution
