Maps in Seconds is an online tool that allows to create in seconds a map with data from a spreadsheet.
It has never been easier to create infographics and maps. Online tools are very numerous. You will find a small sample here with some tools that I had the opportunity to present on CTBT Tools.
Maps in seconds is part of this category of tools that tries to simplify the visual data formatting exercise as much as possible. With Maps in Seconds, it can even be said that it is difficult to make it simpler. The platform does not allow complex formatting, nor does it handle multi-entry data. If you have a data source to compare between different countries, regions, cities, Maps in Seconds will allow you to create a map with your data, as the name suggests, in seconds.
The short video on the front page of the site does not contain any comments and gives you instructions for use. You copy from your spreadsheet the data you want to illuminate with a card, you then choose the appropriate background card. All you have to do is paste your data into the built-in spreadsheet, formatting is immediate. You can then download your card to your computer in PNG or PowerPoint format or share it by email or on social networks.
Maps in Seconds offers many map backgrounds. For France you will have the choice between a map of cities, cantons, departments and regions.
Maps in Seconds is free and ad-free. You will not need to register to use it.
