Keamk is a small online utility that allowsAutomatically blend balanced teams according to different criteria. A generator of groups for the teacher useful for several uses, in particular in EPS.
Keamk will allow you to create groups or teams randomly using different criteria including, arguably the most useful, a level criterion.
The use is very simple. You must first open an account on the site and then add your students. You can do this manually the first time or even faster by importing them from an Excel spreadsheet. No need for many details, the first name of each student is enough.
Next, indicate on Keamk the number of teams you want to create. Then comes the type of criterion. You can request that sorting be done randomly or by gender to have a perfect mix of girls and boys.
Even more interesting, you can ask Keamk to take into account the level of your students to form balanced teams. To do this, you will first have to give a grade of 1 to 5 to each of your students. This is done very quickly with a simple click on each line. Grouping by level will take into account each other’s scores to ensure that all teams have substantially the same ‘value’ by adding up the individualities of the team. Practical.
Keamk will save you a lot of time. If you are dissatisfied with the result, you can restart the formation of groups with a single click to get new ones. It will also keep in mind previous constitutions.
The platform allows you to export the results in Excel format.
Keamk can be used on a computer, but can also be adapted to a smartphone or tablet.
