Algoblocs is an excellent tool for introduce your students to algorithmics and teach them how to program, developed by a mathematics teacher, Charly PIVA. Accuracy is important, so Algoblocs offers a simple, turnkey solution to the teacher that is perfectly suited for school use.

The basic idea is toIntroducing young people to code and programming via game and drawing. On Algoblocs, the student will program the movements of a kind of virtual pen to reproduce shapes that go along with the challenges becoming more and more complex.
In other words, beyond interlocking blocks as can be seen in other programmes to learn how to code, the young programmer will have to create geometric shapes. By default, the tool offers a few hundred exercises of varying difficulty, but a creation mode also allows you to create your own drawings.
Algoblocs is suitable for all school levels. It addresses the basic principles of programming and goes as far as understanding the notion of variable.
An interface that allows you to learn how to program in a simple and fun way
The activity screen is divided into three parts. On the left the figure to be programmed, in a central column the possible actions via blocks of code, on the right finally the blank sheet where the student will deposit and order his blocks to reproduce the figure. Algoblocs integrates a very intuitive and well-done help system that will guide the player step by step according to his actions. At the bottom of the screen, you have access to the various possible settings (sound, speed, background grid, etc.).
