Omnibook Pro is an online application that allowswrite a book with several hands. Very simple to use, this tool allows you to learn collaborative writing as part of an exercise or to work on a book project in its own right.
Omnibook Pro allows you to work remotely with several people on a story or an editorial project. Handling does not require instructions for use. Here simplicity is paramount to facilitate concentration on the essentials.
Working as a team on a book project
As soon as you set up your first book project, Omnibook will ask you to identify the people who will take part in the adventure. You will be able to invite them to join the project by email. Above all, you can set different rights for each of them (reader, co-editor, main … editor).
Once the team is in place, the platform will offer you to reflect and define the structure of the book. You will be able to divide your editorial project into large sections, which are then divided into chapters. Don’t worry, this starting structure is not fixed. It can be modified at any time thereafter and thus adapt to the natural evolution of this type of project.
The authoring and writing interface is very simple. The added value is the many elements present to facilitate collaborative work and multi-hand writing. You will be able to use discussion windows or insert notes visible to all.
Export your work to create an ebook or printed book
Once your project is finished, you will be able to revise it and then export it in many formats. 8 export formats are offered, PDF for the screen or for the printer, ePub2, ePub3, MOBI, but also InDesign for printing.Note that Omnibook Pro allows in the other direction to import an existing file in Word format to follow an already existing book project.
Your book can be public or private on the platform. You can set up a single editorial project per month. This is the only limitation because for the rest, The Omnibook Pro platform is completely free.
