Class plan. Create class plans for your courses

Class plan is a a simple and free tool that allows a teacher to very simply create class plans for his or her groups of students. Especially handy if you have several groups to manage and you also change rooms regularly.

Thanks to Sylvain Payeur, a Quebec teacher who provides the whole community with this handy little tool for drawing and memorising a classroom plan. A simpler and much more affordable version than tools like Class Charts which I had the opportunity to present here.

The tool is very simple to use and you just have to follow a logical step-by-step to create your class plan in a few minutes. Once registered, you must start by creating a room. You can create as many as you want. Give it a name and the number of places available.

Places are displayed immediately on a basic map. You can change the layout of tables by simply dragging and dropping. Once the room or rooms are ready, you still have to welcome your groups of students. Create a list of students with first and last names or only first names. You can also import a photo for each student. You have the room, you have your group of students, all that remains is to place them. The software offers several automatic possibilities. Either by letting chance by clicking on a die to play, evening using an alphabetical order. In any case you can intervene and move the students then as you see fit with the end of the mouse.

Class plan will memorise all class plans, including room arrangements for further use. Once your room plan(s) have been completed, the online software allows you to print them cleanly from a PDF file that you will be able to export.

Class plan is a free service if you use it individually.
