Redacted is a small utility that only does one thing, but does it fast and well. When in a school photo you have to blur the face of a child whose parents have not yet authorised you to do so, Redacted will allow you to hide his face in the photo easily.
No need to take out heavy artillery with the great Image processing software Digital type Photoshop. Just go to the homepage of Redacted. You upload the photo on which you want to blur faces. Then, Use the selection tool to determine which part of the photo you want to blur and thus make it unreadable. Several shapes are at your disposal to draw la part that va be made murky. You can opt for an oval or rectangular shape. You can also choose the degree of pixelation that will be applied to the shape. It can even be completely black.

Once you are satisfied with the result, all you have to do is retrieve the image by downloading it. Simple and fast.
