This year, a new teaching of the common core of 2de appeared at the general high school. Digital Science and Technology or SNT. 1h30 weekly to allow high school students to understand the digital world around them and its challenges.
How to teach the digital world through a classic textbook?
Publisher Delagrave has taken up the challenge with many digital resources, such as particularly well-worn interactive videos, which complement the paper manual. I just tested the whole thing. I recommend it to you.
All the SNT program in a textbook, paper and digital
Delagrave, in the ‘Si So’ collection, offers a coherent and comprehensive set that makes it easy for any teacher to refer to it, regardless of their discipline. The pupil’s manual is divided into seven equally important topics that cover the entire official curriculum. The team of teachers who designed the book took care to ensure variations that were close to the interests of a Secondary student.
The seven topics covered are as follows: structured data and its processing, internet, web, location, mapping and mobility, digital photography, social networks, embedded computing and connected objects. Videos, quizzes, exercises and activities are offered for each theme.

It should be noted that Delagrave provides a teacher’s e-book which is a real facilitating tool for teaching the discipline. It brings elements of reflection and pedagogical advice according to the situations and configurations of your class (whole class, groups). You will of course also find detailed answers to all the activities and exercises in the pupil’s manual.
Interactive videos to engage the student and complete the learning
The publisher had the good idea to include digital enrichments in its textbooks: tutorials, interactive exercises, videos, interactive videos, interactive MCQs, Python… programs Real added values to involve students and consolidate learning. The paper textbook incorporates QR codes, but all these resources take on their full dimension in the digital textbook of the pupil who consults online or without connection.
Among the many multimedia add-ons on offer, Delagrave offers particularly effective interactive videos. These are scripted videos made specifically for the manual that are interspersed with built-in self-corrected quizzes. A very effective original tool to relaunch the student’s attention and validate the acquisition of the main concepts. Delagrave is the only publisher to offer this type of interactive videos. Example here with this video extracted from the manual.
In the end, Delagrave's SNT 2de is a book that is an excellent help in the implementation of this discipline in high school.
