Everyone now knows how to create favorites to a site or to web pages to be able to find them easily. But how can we go further? How to quickly find in a web page containing a lot of text the passage or passages that interest you? This is where it comes in Bookmarkify. A Chrome extension to create favorites inside pages

This extension will help you select any text on a web page and save it as a bookmark or favorite. So when you revisit the same page, you will be able to see all the bookmarks saved on the right side of the page in a transparent bar. With one click you will be able to access the selected passage.

The use is clear and the handling is immediate. Once the extension is installed on your browser, when you are browsing the content of a web page, it will be enough to highlight the beginning of the passage you want to find. A small icon appears next to the text. With one click Bookmarkify will create a favorite to that specific location. A color point appears in the scroll bar of the page. You can create multiple favorites in one page.

When you revisit the page, you will be able to find all the passages indicated in your favorites list.

Bookmarkify protects your data and all your favorites

The extension works locally directly in the cache of your browser. The advantage is that your favourites do not pass through any external server. Bookmarkify does not send any information outside the user’s system. Everything happens only on the customer side. Thus, all your data is safe. The counterpart is that your favourites are linked to the computer you are using.
