The health context requires, the International Education Film Festival, organized every year for 16 years by the Céméa in Évreux, had to juggle the successive lockdowns. Do not give up, adapt to constraints, save what can be saved, like many other cultural events the organisers fought like hell to avoid a white year.
Show the work of creators towards and against everything. The organizers have therefore decided to broadcast on the Internet for free the 41 films of the selection "short and medium films". Please note that this exceptional projection is proposed until 6 December. A whole week to discover real gems ‘addressing the major issues of education, childhood and youth, cultural or intergenerational transmission, and the fight against all discrimination, through stories and life paths of children, young people and adults’.

A nice invitation to go immerse yourself in the real dark room during the next edition of the festival.
The Education Film Festival intelligently questions education issues every year
FIFE is a valuable cultural object. For 15 years, during 5 days in Évreux, the Festival offers a wide choice of films, shorts, mediums, feature films, fictions, animations, documentaries. Fictions, animation, documentaries, programming is aimed at everyone: education professionals , parents, elected officials but also more broadly all audiences. Young people are not forgotten with special programming.
The Education Film Festival is also an opportunity to organise round tables and debates with the directors. ‘A space of ‘popular education’, articulating the ‘seeing’ of films with the ‘talking’ of great witnesses, which makes it possible to clear up again and again the questions of education’.
About forty films to watch for free online
These are the short and medium-length films in the selection and they are open access until 6 December. Enjoy there are some beautiful pearls to discover. 41 films to be seen on a channel created for the occasion on Viméo.
To help you with your programming, the organisers have categorised them by theme (life stories, family, artistic practices, identity issues, school learning, engagement, etc.). You can also leave it to chance and be surprised by the work. A bit like those short films that were shown in the cinema before the film that you chose to go see and that manage to surprise you.
"The contagion of cinema and culture will always be stronger than that of all viruses and fanaticism" C.Gautelier.
He is right Christian Gautelier the patron of the festival, we need even more culture at the moment. Good projection. Find here all the films in programming.
