Flippity is a small free site that offers you create very easily no less than twenty-five games and fun activities for the class. Varied and nice modules that can meet many needs. Their peculiarity: they are built from a simple Google spreadsheet, which will allow you to personalise them with your own data.

Classroom activities easy to set up

Flippity is very simple to understand and use. You do not need to register or download anything. On the homepage of the website you have direct access to all the modules offered. There are 25 to date, and it is hoped that more will be added to the list.

There is something for every taste and every situation. Memory cards, bingo, quiz, trivial chase, game of pairs, game of the hanged, wheel of fortune, draws, games with words, crossword …

On the homepage, each activity is presented in the form of a card with a demo button that allows you to test the activity and to see if it corresponds to your needs. The rendering is simple and colorful, your students will love it.

Flippity then offers you to personalize the activities with your own data. For this, the site provides a small instruction manual in English but especially the Google spreadsheet ‘template’ in which you will be able to enter your texts and data.

So to be able to download the model you will need to have a Google account. If you are allergic to “Big Company”, Flippity’s designers have provided an option in the form of a tab called “skip the spreadsheets” that allows you to directly enter the word(s) you want to play with and then choose the activity you want to create. All without having to go through a spreadsheet or a Google account. A good idea.
