This helps to encourage active participation in the classroom, and thus create a more motivating environment. The use of devices such as a computer or tablet in the classroom, for example, helps to transform academic subjects into interactive, playful activities that promote better engagement and attention. Among the multiple benefits that technology brings to the classroom, it allows the teacher to track student engagement and identify areas of confusion and misunderstanding. Provide a personalized experience
In class, each child is different, and it can be difficult to tailor the learning plan to each student. By incorporating different learning styles, technology in education gives prominence to lessons providing students with a more tailored experience. More specifically, iPads allow for a much more personalised experience, using versatile learning tools that can be customised according to their needs. If a student is more of a visual learner, they can watch educational videos. Students who prefer a more practical approach download and work on practical problems …
The setup also benefits students with invisible learning differences who need special accommodations, providing them with the support and tools they need to succeed in the classroom. By equipping them with appropriate, easy-to-use and intuitive technological tools such as iPads, educators can create a more inclusive environment.

Ease of use
Compared to laptops, iPads are much simpler to use. The operating system is simplistic and straightforward, even allowing young children to use the device and improve their learning. The interactive and multitouch screen also encourages a more practical approach. With countless apps to download, students can use iPads to learn everything from spelling to math. Finally, access to almost unlimited resources offers endless possibilities for research.
Encouraging creativity
According to the same Gallup poll cited above, 75 % Teachers say students learn best when they are encouraged to creatively express what they have learned. Many teachers are themselves creative minds, constantly imagining new ways to capture students’ attention. The technology offered by iPads thus provides rich and flexible media with endless opportunities to learn and express themselves creatively. Teachers and students can do everything: capture, edit and broadcast video, composition of graphics, interactive presentation, all on a single device.
Increase student interest, participation and collaboration
For teachers, a high level of engagement is a priority. The more engaged students are, the more they learn and the more successful they are. Today’s students have grown up in the digital age and the use of technology improves their engagement and understanding of topics.
With the implementation of projects to be carried out on/with technological tools, students must ask their peers or the teacher for help. When students are divided into small groups, more technologically advanced students help the less experienced. Thus, the integration of devices such as iPads in the classroom develops mutual support, increases students’ interest and participation.
Preparing children for the future & improving digital literacy
Technology is now everywhere in everyday life, in the professional environment. Introducing pedagogical technology in the classroom at a young age helps prepare students for future digital requirements. When students have access to technology in the classroom, they begin to acquire digital skills. Basic elements of digital literacy, such as the use of search terms, with more advanced skills, or the analysis of the credibility of online information. Thus, the use of technology in the classroom will help students prepare for the digital future.

More than just materials, technology engages teachers and their students in active, constructive, authentic and cooperative learning. The use of technology in the classroom promotes learning when it is used as a tool for mobilising and facilitating reflection to support knowledge building, explore knowledge and then collaborate.
