Room 104, 8.15 a.m., test day. You're standing in front of the board, marker in hand. Academy, session, series, marker of the … test You dictate, the candidates copy as good as they can. Three hands are already up: ‘What is the point of reference? "Which session?". The test has not even started and you have already lost 10 minutes. This little real annoyance of everyday life, the teacher Julien Delmas decided to settle it with a small practical free utility: Copy Examination
Don't look here for a revolutionary platform. Copy Examination is a small online utility, simple and effective, which displays on the video projector of the room everything you need to complete your exam copy correctly.

Table of Contents
How does it work?
You open copy-examination.fr on the station connected to the video projector. If you are already using a tool like ClassroomScreen to display your instructions on a daily basis, Copy Examination complements the test days. You fill in the fields: academy, session, exam, series, test, landmark. You're switching to full screen. The candidates then have before them, in large and permanent, all the information to be carried over to the header of their official copy. No more dictating, no more transcription errors.
In a few clicks, everything is set up. The display faithfully reproduces the layout of the standardised header of the National Education.
A stopwatch integrated displays the time in real time and the count of the remaining time. You enter the start time and the duration, the rest is calculated on its own. A visual alert warns when the end is approaching.
Third-time? Supported automatically for candidates who benefit from it. Regulatory bans (smartphone, connected watch, exit before an hour, chatter) remain permanently displayed. The frame is placed as soon as the candidates enter the room.
Last well-thought-out detail: a share function generates a link containing all pre-filled fields. The coordinator prepares the configuration, sends the URL by email or via the ENT, and each supervisor finds the same display with one click. During the baccalaureate or patent period, when the tests run in succession, this kind of shortcut changes the situation.

No data collected, no installation
The tool does not collect, transmit or process any personal data. Everything is stored locally in the browser. No cookies, no analytics, no servers receive anything. The site is hosted in France and published under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. Free, free to use for educational purposes, without registration or account creation. A browser and a projector are enough. On the GDPR side, there is nothing to complain about.
One teacher, two AIs and a good idea
What also attracts attention is how this utility came into being. Julien Delmas seems to have developed it with the help of Gemini and Claude AI. No team of developers, no months of design. Just a teacher who identified a concrete irritant in his practice and relied on two AI assistants (and his talent 😉) to turn it into a functional tool.
For me, this use case is telling. A new way of meeting the small needs of everyday life in education is emerging. Teachers who, because they know the field better than anyone, create themselves Targeted, practical, immediately usable micro-tools. Copy Examination is probably only the first in a long series.
To be tested before the next white exam
Congratulations in any case to the developer who makes it available to the whole community. Just try it once in a future white exam to measure the time saving. See you on copy-examination.fr.
