A free tool to create a school structure and distribute pupils

Last updated on 30 April 2025

The same complicated task comes back every year at about the same time. We have to think and developing a school structure and create balanced classes by judiciously distributing the students.

A real headache that takes time and energy. The Teetsh Platform, which I have already said all the good I thought of here, had the good idea of putting online a new free tool that will help you by greatly simplifying this process.

Create school structure

Simple and intuitive operation to help you build your school structure

The tool works very intuitively. Simply enter the number of pupils per level (PS, MS, GS, CP, CE1, CE2, CM1, CM2) and then choose the number of classes you want to set up.

We can then define constraints to refine the distribution: minimum and maximum numbers per class, maximum permissible deviation between two classes, maximum number of levels per class, etc. The tool then takes care of automatically generate distribution scenarios which respect all the constraints you have set. Practical.

distribution of pupils

Optimized scenarios in a few clicks

If the first scenario proposed is not appropriate, it is possible to relaunch the generation to obtain other proposals. In this way, different distribution variants can be quickly obtained.

The generated scenarios can be saved for comparison and sharing. No more wasted time manually creating dozens of distributions on paper or spreadsheet. In just a few clicks, the tool does all the work and will save you valuable time.

A free and easy-to-access tool for distributing students into classes

The big advantage of this small utility is that it is completely free and usable online without installation, on a computer, tablet or smartphone. There is no need to be an IT ace, its handling is immediate.

This utility is a creation of Teetsh, which offers a whole range of digital tools designed to simplify the day-to-day life of teachers: journals, preparation sheets, schedules, notebooks, follow-up of programming … The Teetsh tools are intended to be simple, ergonomic and really adapted to the needs of teachers.

Hello, thank you for this practical tool that allows you to create scenarios objectively.
One parameter may be missing: for a question of premises and ATSEM, to be able to indicate that kindergarten students can only be distributed over a certain number of classes for example
