Nuggets. Remember what you learn

Nuggets is a rather original online service which has set itself the ambition of help you memorize what you learn. 

In any case, the tool has the merit of highlighting the growing difficulties of memorisation at a time when we are bombarded with information of all kinds. The creators of Nuggets worked on memorization mechanisms to develop their magic formula which consists in offering you regularly and at regular intervals the concepts learned.

The observation is cruel according to several studies after a week we forgot 80 % things we've learned.

To combat the effects of this curve, the creators of Nuggets argue the value of repeated learning at regular intervals. Each time you review a notion, the retention period of the information is extended.

Nuggets is an extension in Chrome. Once installed it will offer you to create kinds of memory cards. Attention these are limited to 200 characters. You can tag them to find them better. You can start from scratch and write your Nugget or, if you are on a web page that interests you, highlight the text you want to memorize.

You will then always have at the click of a button, all the memory cards that you have created. You will be able to browse them easily, but also make a quick search by content, by date of creation or by hashtag.

Nuggets goes beyond these rather classic functions to do everything to prevent you from forgetting. The tool will send you regular emails with a selection of your saved content. Nuggets will also be able to display notifications on your browser with either of your memory cards.

The tool is not yet fully completed and it still lacks some useful functions, such as the ability to edit memorised cards or to exchange with other users, but the main thing is there.

Nuggets is a free extension. It will require you to synthesize concepts in less than 200 characters and then recall them at regular intervals until they are learned.
