Aww. Collaborative whiteboard for the class

Aww is a whiteboard on the web to use for your brainstorming sessions, to explain a notion or for distance learning.

Aww, for "To web whiteboard", is a very simple to use tool that allows you to work together on the same virtual white sheet. A kind of paperboard on which you can write or draw from your computer, tablet or smartphone. This compatibility with all devices makes it one of its strengths.

Another highlight is the possibility to use the tool without even having to register. There is also nothing to install to start collaborating.

No need for instructions, just go to the homepage and click on ‘start drawing’. The toolbar offers a pencil of different thicknesses and a colour tablet. You can also insert letters with your keyboard. You can invite others to participate in your drawing life a unique URL link provided by AWW.

Aww provides a plug-in that allowsinsert your collaborative whiteboard on a website or blog. All the functions of the service are thus offered to all visitors to your site. In the premium version, AWW also offers a text and audio chat to facilitate teamwork, a system of authorisations and private notebooks and the possibility to save your tables.

Aww can be used for free without these additional functions. The premium version costs around EUR 10 per month. A little expensive to my liking.
