Sumnotes is an online tool forEasily extract highlighted passages and all your personal notes from a PDF file. If you are used to working with long PDFs and highlighting important passages when reading, Sumnotes will make your life much easier.
This online service will allow you to export all annotated passages and comments in one click and you will be able to focus on the essentials. Sumnotes will extract annotations and images contained in your books, notes or papers in PDF format.
The tool allows them to be exported in .doc or .txt format for quick use in word processing. No need for further conversions or steps. With one click you retrieve all the selected content. Practical you can also export your notes with a single click to Evernote.
The use is very simple. Simply drag and drop your PDF file to the Sumnotes homepage or search and select your PDF file from your hard drive. Within seconds, the tool will scan the content and show you the number of highlighted annotations and passages found. You will also see the number of images. You will be able to select the ones you want to download or one click to retrieve them all.
Unlike other such tools, Sumnotes does not require any special installation. It works on all recent browsers and on all platforms.
For occasional needs, you can use Sumnotes for free. For larger or regular needs, you will have to pay a subscription of around €10 per year.
