StoryBird is a great service that allows to create beautiful illustrated e-books alone or with your students.
The aim of the education version of StoryBird is displayed in large letters on the front page of the website: Make your students want to write better and read more. In any case, the site will participate through a playful interface and well-thought-out functions to facilitate written expression.

Apart from the fact that the site is in English, StoryBird has few flaws. Once registered, you will be able to create one or more classes and as many students as you want. They will not need an email to log in.
StoryBird allows you to create illustrated books, longer tales or poetry. Here everything starts with an image. The site offers hundreds of them. It's up to you to choose. Once you have chosen the image style to awaken the imagination, you will be able to choose the type of book you want to make. A few pages or dozens and even a single page to propose for example a poetry.

Storybird a kind of very easy to use mounting table. Images appear on the sides of the book. You need to drag and drop them where you want them to appear. The templates offered by Storybird also offer predefined fields to insert the text of your story. Practical.
Forget about the fitness issues and focus on the story, Storybird takes care of everything. Once you have finished your masterpiece, you will be able to share it by email or on social media. You can also insert it on a website or blog. The default reader offered by the site allows the book to be displayed in full screen and to pass the pages with a single click.

You will be able to build a library for your class. You will store books created by your students and also those created by other users of the site. Each book can be public or private. One of the strengths of this tool is that it is perfectly responsive. You will be able to read and consult the works of your students on your computer, but also on smartphone or tablet. That's great.
Formidable also the gratuitousness. Storybird is completely free for the world of education. You can also have a book created in class printed in several copies. (paid service).
Too bad that the service was not located in the language of Molière. To use it, you will have to use your English skills.
