Kumbu. Curation and sharing of content found on the web and social networks

Last updated on 12 May 2026

Kumbu is a curation tool that allows to save any type of content present on the web or on social networks.

kumbu

A new generation bookmarking service that has among other advantages that of copying the content you are interested in and not just the link. Kumbu thus offers the possibility to properly save pages from websites or blogs. More interesting, you will also be able to set aside email content from Gmail as well as any social media posts.

You can save posts from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp or YouTube. Ultra convenient to keep content by nature ephemeral. The tool archives texts, images or videos and then allows you to easily find them via a collection system.

Kumbu

Kumbu does wonders via an extension to install on your Chrome browser. When you are on content that interests you, a click and it will be kept in the folder or collection that you will indicate. To do this, you need to click on the Kumbu button that has been installed in your browser. You can also click on the button also present under the contents of social media.

Pub

Kumbu presents itself as a digital souvenir box, it can also be useful for easily collecting and sharing online resources including those on social networks. It responds to a real need as it is difficult to find cross-content in the middle of the constant flow that emanates from the social web.

curation

To find the fruit of your curation, you have to go to the Kumbu site where your collections are kept. Contents are ordered chronologically, most recent first. You can also add tags to filter the results more easily. Alternatively, filter your tables by source type. Malin.

You can then share one or more collections with your loved ones or … your students. These are private by default. Alternatively, when a collection is shared, you can suspend sharing at any time.

Kumbu is still in beta and completely free. A nice surprise to follow.
