DrawChat is a free tool that allows to create a video conference, or video chat if you prefer, around a virtual whiteboard.

As the name suggests, DrawChat allows drawing and exchanging remotely. A free tool that can be adapted for remote tutoring or to allow brainstorming or the preparation of group work by students.

The use is simple and does not require no prior registration. You can use DrawChat without needing to identify yourself. On the ‘home’ of the site, simply click on ‘Start New Whiteboard’ to benefit from a whiteboard and a unique URL that you will be able to share in order to start exchanging in collaborative mode.

DrawChat allows you to exchange via video, audio or text.

Once your whiteboard is shared online, you will be able to activate (or not) your webcam and microphone. Also available on the right side of the screen is a text chat window to engage with all participants.

Drawchat

Drawchat allows you to start from a blank sheet, but you can also upload an image, a PDF or a Google Maps map for example. The platform provides all the necessary tools to then create or annotate a document. You can write, draw, paste shapes, play with colors, add pages, etc. Once your session is over, you have the option to upload your whiteboard in image format.

You still have the possibility to share it by email giving permission to modify it or only to consult it.

In the end, a small utility that is free and convenient to allow anyone to create a video chat on a whiteboard, a PDF, an image or a map.

The possibility to use Drawchat without registration does not only have advantages. As you do not log in, the tool assigns you, when you create a table or log in, a random username.

Drawchat is free. The counterpart is the presence of advertisements. The place given to them, however, is very reasonable.
