QuizKlip is a small extension for your browser that will allow you to translate on the fly the words you encounter during your readings on the web. Words that you will be able to capture to enrich a vocabulary book and study them later in an application like Quizlet.

Capture words so you can memorize them
The web is a great resource for studying a language. Reading articles from the foreign press, for example, provides an exciting basis for getting back into a language. QuizKlip will allow you to enrich and capitalise on this type of activity.
This extension that works on the Chrome browser is a kind of virtual vocabulary book. Once installed, you will be able to select a word on a web page and get a translation proposal via Google Translate. You will then be able to store it in a personal list of words, each with its translation, with one click. This list of words can then be exported to a Quizlet application for you to study and remember.
Create a vocabulary book very simply
Using QuizKlip is very simple. Once installed on your browser, a small scissor drill icon appears in the navigation bar. A first click will allow you to activate it and define the language you want to work with. Several dozen languages are available.

When you browse a text in the language you are studying, you can click on any word. The extension will open a window with several suggested translations. Choose the one that suits you best. A second click and the word and its translation are saved. You will see on the extension icon a number corresponding to the number of words saved.
Once your session is over, click on the icon to browse your list of words and possibly export it to Quizlet, Anki or csv format.
QuizKlip is completely free and ad-free.
