Simply drag and drop the file(s) to the VoiceThread editor.
Before you share your VoiceThread, you can add a comment to it with one click. Several options for commenting on slides are available: microphone, webcam, text, or download audio files. You can also bring annotations with a small built-in editor. Your additions will appear on the side of the shared document and will be visible to the module readers on the presentation timeline. When it comes to a video, clicking on a comment insertion point makes it possible to go immediately to the exact moment of the video in question. Very practical.
Share and encourage exchanges with students
Once you have created your VoiceThread, you can keep it private, share it with specific people, or open it completely and share it with the world.
Once the document has been uploaded, the platform will provide you with a web link that will allow those who will be provided with the URL address to access the document and in turn make written or audio comments.
However, in the sharing options, you can limit access to the document to read only. Readers will then be able to access your presentation, see or hear your comments, but they will not be able to comment on their side.
Note also that VoiceThread can be integrated with the most common LMSs and that the platform offers detailed statistics on who, what and when your tables have been accessed, with customizable tables and graphs.
VoiceThread can be used from a simple browser. You can also use it through dedicated apps on your smartphone or tablet. If the showcase site is in English, once connected, the VoiceThread interface is in French.
