Wallabag is an open source application that will allow you to save on the fly articles found on the web to be able to read them later, on your smartphone, tablet or e-reader. A curation tool that is reminiscent of excellent services that I have already had the opportunity to present here as pocket or more recently Cozy Reader.

Wallabag is above all a service that makes it possible to set aside interesting articles you find on the web during your digital journeys or during research work. Thanks to extensions provided for your favorite browser (Chrome, Firefox or Opera…) a simple click will be enough to set aside and keep an article on the web. Even if the page disappears, the content will be saved in your Wallabag archive.
Wallabag extracts the content of an article and displays it in a clean way, eliminating any source of distraction or visual clutter.
You will be able to highlight passages, take notes on articles, add tags and keywords. To then find an article or content, Wallabag provides a fast and powerful search engine and a filter system that will allow you to find everything in no time.

The Wallabag team wanted to make the fruit of your curation as accessible as possible. This is one of its main strengths. You will be able to read your articles set aside on your computer, but also on your smartphone or tablet or on an ebook reader. Practical.
The content archived in Wallabag can also be downloaded in a record number of different formats. You can download all your articles in PDF, ePUB, .mobi, JSON, CSV, txt or HTML.
