Crossword Labs is a great online tool that allows you to create crossword puzzles very simply. It is part of a small List of Crossword Generators of which I spoke here some time ago.

Create crossword puzzles quickly, easily and for free

Crossword Labs has been around for quite some time now, but its interface and functions have not picked up any wrinkles. It is really very simple to use. To create your first crossword puzzle, simply go to the homepage of the site. Give your grid a title, then you can start writing your list of words.

You must write down the word to be found and then leave a space the definition that should allow the player to find each word. You can insert as many words as you want within a maximum limit of one hundred terms.

Crossword Labs will automatically create your grid by randomly crossing them. The site will offer you an overview of the final rendering. The site also prompts you to create a password. It will allow you to modify it later. Be careful not to forget it, you will not be able to recover it.
