It is by doing a little storage that we sometimes come across formidable resources forgotten at the bottom of its digital binder. This is the case here with these three free tools for education proposed by Digital, this great digital toolkit and applications designed for teaching by Emmanuel Zimmert and of which I have said all the good that I thought here some time ago.
Digital offers no less than twenty-four high-quality tools and services that you can use with your eyes closed. It is free, free, high-quality and perfectly suited for use at school. I rediscovered three of them at the start of the school year. 3 free tools for the school that you may not know or have had the opportunity to use. They have one thing in common, that of sobriety. Three digital tools for the classroom that eliminate unnecessary distraction and promote work and concentration.
Table of Contents
Digiread. Simplify online pages and articles to make them more readable
In this set of free tools for education: Digiread is a good example of what I call digital sobriety. Simple and intuitive interface. There is no need for instructions for use and a result that will allow you to focus on the essentials by eliminating any unnecessary distractions. Give Digiread the link to an article or webpage and Digiread will take care of you. provide a cleaned-up version of anything that is not editorial content. The tool keeps only the essentials, the text with all the links and images in a version that is easier to read and easier to print.
Digiplay. Watch YouTube videos without distractions and ads
Digiplay He also plays the great cleaners by offering a clean interface to watch a YouTube video. Whether it's to screen a video in class for your students or for a distance learning course, Digiplay offers a clear interface without advertising, distractions or zapping incentives. Simply copy the url of the YouTube video you want to project into Digiplay. The tool immediately gives you a url which you can share and which allows you to watch the video ‘cleanly’. You can add a title and a comment or a description.
DigiDoc. A text document to work with several
Digidoc has many commercial equivalents at Google or Microsoft to name but a few. Based on free software Etherpad, it helps to create collaborative text-based documents. Team or group work, peer collaboration, minutes of meetings, etc. Digidoc is a great tool for setting up educational activities and projects. This free tool is a model of simplicity. Instantly available without registration, immediate handling, no unnecessary frills. Digidoc's word processing is shared via a simple URL with the ability to limit read rights. Participants' contributions appear in real time on the document. Each contributor is identified through a customizable color system. An integrated chat system facilitates exchanges between participants.
And you, what are the Digital tools that you use the most or that you find the most useful?

in elementary school, I use DIGIPLAY a lot, but also DIGIBUNCH during computer/tablet activities: I create sequences of activities (with link and attached documents) that my students must carry out in the order created by the bouquet. This is very convenient for disseminating multiple links at once. I shorten the link of my DIGIBUNCH thanks to DIGILINK (I choose a short name that is easy to copy) and I write it on the table: students copy it into the address bar.
All the tools of LA DIGITALE are really practical!
We can also mention the excellent DIGIPAD, which advantageously replaces Padlet, which has paid for more than three pads, and the brand new DIGIRECORD, which allows you to record your voice in one click and then share the resulting audio file.
High-quality work, to be discovered if not already done!
Hello, I discovered La Digitale and since then I don’t know how to do without it. I use digilink, digicode, digiplay, digipad.. in short, a quality work and very easy to use.
