There are many online resources for Learn to type on a keyboard quickly. Here are three of them. They have the particularity of being intended, in the form of small games, for an audience of young students.
Typing Adventure is a nice little game that will challenge you to type on a keyboard as quickly as possible your young students. To play, nothing is simpler. Just go to the website page and start the game. The player directs on the keyboard an intrepid adventurer who seeks a treasure by jumping from stone to stone. To help him, the player must type on his keyboard the letter indicated on each stone as soon as possible. Warning in case of error the character is struck by a magic flash. Link: Typing Adventure
Rocket type is another free online game to learn how to type on a keyboard while having fun. The player here has 60 seconds to explode fireworks on the screen. Rockets appear from the bottom of the screen. Each rocket corresponds to a letter. By tapping it on his keyboard, the player blows up the rocket in a nice fireworks display. Rockets are popping up faster and faster and after 60 seconds, a score is displayed with the number of rockets that have exploded. Link: Rocket type (This service no longer seems to work )
Z-Type loop this trio of online games to learn how to type on a keyboard. Less easy than the previous two, it is a kind of Invaders space of words. The invaders that fall from the top of the screen are words (English) that must be written as quickly as possible on your keyboard to make them disappear. If one of the words arrives at the bottom of the screen, it is lost! Less simple than it seems, try it out. Link: Z-Type
Finally and for the older ones, I point out an interesting plugin for Chrome that will analyze on the fly the speed at which you type on a keyboard in real time. Once installed, you will forget about this extension which will then deliver you a detailed analysis of how you type on a keyboard. If you are much slower than average, you can always try to improve with the games we just presented 😉
