Fluency in the English language also depends on learning a correct pronunciation. The work on grammar, vocabulary and spelling is obviously decisive, but incomplete.

The web is full of sites for an approach to the different aspects of learning a language like English. I have presented some of them. right here on Tools TICE. Here are three additional resources that specifically target pronunciation. Three Sites Your Students Can Use to Listen, Practice, and Refine Their Ear in Sheakespeare language learning.

Howjsay

Howjsay

I like the name of this first 😉 site. Howjsay has created a rather impressive database as it lists no more and no less than all the words in the English language. When you want to know how a word is pronounced, simply insert it in the search window of the site. As soon as Howjsay finds it and with one click you can listen to it in impeccable English. Howjsay does not burden itself with complicated functions. He does just that, but he does it well. It also works on your mobile. Only small reproach, the advertising visually a little cumbersome.
