How to easily transfer a heavy file over the Internet? While the speed of our connections has greatly improved in recent years, the weight of files has also become overweight. Sometimes it is still difficult to transfer a file simply as soon as it exceeds a reasonable weight for our email clients.

SendAnywhere doubles the size of the files allowed for free and fast sending without the need to register for the service. 4 GB maximum. Once your file is online, you can either get a link to share or directly fill in the emails of the people to whom you want to send your file. A nice little option, SendAnywhere will provide you with a QR code to make it easier to download your files from mobile devices. The files remain available for a short week.

TransferNow allows you to share and send large files up to 4GB for free simply from your browser. TransferNow even goes up to 5Gb if you register for free on the site. Small peculiarity compared to the other services of this small list, here your files will remain available for 15 days maximum. Better, you can set the time during which the file will be downloadable between 1 and 15 days.

Another free option that can be used without having to go through the registration box. pCloud allows sending files up to 5Gb up to ten recipients. All you have to do is upload your file, fill in the addresses of the recipients and add a small accompanying message to your mailing. Interesting small feature, pCloud offers an option to encrypt files for more security.

We're changing categories with FileMail. This service allows sending heavy-duty files. You can load the boat, FileMail accepts files up to 30 Gb. You can send a file or a whole folder. The service also offers some interesting premium services such as the possibility to install a file inbox on your site or to add an extension to your mail software to be able to insert files sent via FileMail in a transparent way. The free versio will keep your files for 7 days.

    There's also the new kid, Smash (https://fromsmash.com) which has no size limit and allows you to set the validity period (7 days maximum in free version) and the password to recover the files (optional).
    Possibility to have an overview of the items to download.
