Last updated on 12 February 2025

This is a first and good news. Education Exchange, the annual global event organised by Microsoft Education will be held for the first time in France next year from 2 to 4 April.

This unique event allows several hundred teachers who are members of the *MIE Experts programme to share their pedagogical projects and experience in integrating digital in the classroom with colleagues.

A unique moment of work and exchange on digital in education

France will thus host a veritable hive for three days bringing together teachers and education specialists from more than 90 countries. A unique moment to share their uses, compare their practices, get inspired for future projects, and reflect together on the future of teaching and learning.

On the agenda for this 2019 edition: workshops, conferences and exchange sessions around personalised education and how digital enriches pedagogical practices.

Among the highlights of this annual meeting. The Learning Marketplace. A mini-fair where each teacher presents his work and the way he uses digital. Also on the agenda are the various workshops that make it possible to take ownership of the new tools offered by Microsoft and its partners for the world of education.

What if you took part in the Education Exchange?

The French delegation should be important this year, as the host country is obliged to do so. The good news is that you can be part of it. For that it goes without saying, but it goes better by saying: You must be a teacher and practice in France, be a member of the MIE Experts program and commit to be available from April 2 to 4, 2019. It is a global meeting so you need to get by in English and be ready to share your educational projects and how you integrate digital in the classroom.

CEF, a community of innovative teachers created by Microsoft Education

Microsoft

*Microsoft has gradually created a community in recent years that now brings together thousands of teachers, the CEFs.

A group of enthusiasts, they share the common point of being followers of new technologies. They use them in the classroom and like to share resources and experiences with their colleagues.

Microsoft has made them available an information and exchange platform on digital transformation. By registering for free, you will be able to consult written or video courses, but also infographics, webinars, etc. They are made by and for teachers in class.

I will return regularly to ToolsTIce by April on the Education Exchange 2019 event in Paris. To be followed, then.
