ExperQuiz. A very comprehensive knowledge assessment tool (and free ) for teaching)

Last updated on 12 May 2026

Focus this morning on a great tool that will allow you to complete quizzes and assessments, but also broadcast online courses. This is ExpertQuiz, of which I have already said all the good I thought ToolsTice several months ago, which was naturally part of a list of tools for organising quizzes which I have also proposed to you.

ExperQuiz. A very comprehensive toolkit for education and training

As its name suggests, the first area of ExpertQuiz is the assessment of knowledge and skills, through questions.

Asking questions and counting the right answers is quite easy on the surface, but requires sophisticated tools to be effective, provide a fun and rich experience for students, and have many different models and use cases. ExperQuiz is on all these aspects flawless. You can illustrate a question with a video, a document, or a simple image. You can accompany each question with a real explanation or even a course reminder.  In this way, a questionnaire is not only an assessment tool and becomes a real learning tool.

Question bases that can be reused

One of the characteristics of ExpertQuiz is to allow the creation of real questions bases on a given topic. A personal library that you will be able to enrich over time and reuse according to your needs. Do not be afraid you will then easily find your little ones thanks to a full-text search engine. You will be able to sort the questions by domains, tags, etc.

questionnaires

In ExperQuiz, you create a questionnaire by selecting the questions you want to use from the database. Thus, the same questions can be used by different questionnaires. One of the most interesting features is the dynamic questionnaires, which will draw questions, following a few constraints that have been specified. For example, the draw may focus on certain areas of knowledge, or it may choose questions corresponding to a certain level of difficulty. These dynamic questionnaires have many uses.  For example, in a learning context, they make it possible to select a set of questions adapted to each individual’s learning, i.e. one that revisits poorly integrated notions and no longer proposes questions relating to acquired notions. ExperQuiz thus shows all its power compared to the usual tools.

Wide variety of evaluations, questionnaires and quizzes

The Experquiz platform offers a wide variety of activities (imaged QCM, ordering ranking, text with holes, click in an image, … rated questions). Among all these questions, there is also the open-ended, open-ended question. For this type of question, there are no good and bad answers proposed.  The pupil is required to express his or her answer freely. He can either enter a reply text, attach a file as an attachment to his reply, or record himself, both in audio and video. The answer and its attachments will then be submitted to the teacher, who will be able to give a detailed feedback, and possibly assign a note to the question.

Questions Base

Another use of a questionnaire: you can create a ‘cycle’ of submissions, i.e. schedule different test submission deadlines in the future, e.g. ‘submit a small test every Monday morning’. With dynamic questionnaires, a different test will be created and sent every week.

Detailed reports and results

After a test, you will get a score, but you can get much more than that: a complete analysis of the knowledge measured on different axes. For example, for a language test, you will not have a single score, you will be able to have a score on each of the areas oral comprehension, vocabulary, writing, grammar, etc.

ExperQuiz is a powerful pro tool. I advise you to take a close look. It offers a very complete solution and by its great versatility very suitable for the difficult period we are going through. In addition to videoconferencing tools or virtual classrooms, ExperQuiz allows you to share documents, submit tests, ask questions that everyone can answer, set up interactive participatory activities or small surveys.

For Joseane Silva, a secondary school teacher in French Guiana, the tool is well suited to differentiated work: The idea is to be able to do different exercises even if you stay in the same subject, because the way you do the exercise helps make you want to continue it. (…) With ExperQuiz, one can know exactly where the difficulties are and therefore try to create something more personalised.
