The YouTube platform is often used as a medium for foreign language learning tools. There are thus many examples, such as this list of YouTube channels to learn English or these other sites that use films to practice a language.
Youglish started from an even simpler idea. To listen to how a word is pronounced in a foreign language, just find videos on YouTube where it is used by a native.
Video excerpts to listen to the pronunciation of words
You enter any word and immediately Youglsh is a series of videos in which you hear the word you are looking for.
The video player proposed by Youglish allows you to make small jumps back to listen to the word as many times as you want. You can also easily switch to the following video to hear different pronunciations.
The videos offered are very public. Many are extracted from Tedx conferences.

For each search Youglish displays the number of videos found with the word. The site also displays large-character subtitles allowing you to see the word in context.
