For Framasoft, companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple or Microsoft (GAFAM) which are part of our daily lives endanger our digital life as much as they facilitate it.

Functional, ergonomic and mostly free of charge, they obscure the main issue which is based on control of personal data.
To win this battle, Framasoft had the great idea of trying to compete with the web giants on their own ground. In other words, to offer concrete alternatives to traditional online services. The right idea. What better way to convince users to turn to the free than to offer tools as good as commercial companies. This crazy Framasoft bet is winning it.
This week, Framasoft, launches or relaunches Five new services that pose as free alternatives to very popular services from the private sector.

FramaDrive.
Here is the alternative to services like Google Drive or DropBox. FramaDrive offers the same services as these web giants to store and share its files. FramaDrive offers a free space of 2 Gigas. It is not much, but it is already not bad. Additional space can be purchased, but prices are prohibitive.
