Wordeys. Word games to learn a foreign language

Wordeys is an online CTBT tool that allows retain and memorize vocabulary words effectively in a foreign language.

An online equivalent to the traditional small book of words in which we note the vocabulary that we are learning so that we can consult it and memorise it at any time. Wordeys renews the genre with a simple and fun service that can be used on your computer, tablet or smartphone.

The concept is simple and the immediate tool is in hand. Wordeys offers you to create lists of words by theme. You choose the language of origin and the language you want to learn. You create the words you want to memorise. Each list can contain as many words as you want. To help you when you write the word you want learn in a foreign language, Wordeys offers you an automatic translation via google translate but you still have your hand on the result you want to display.

Once your word list has been compiled (you can add or remove words later, ) Wordeys invites you to memorize them in two ways: "Flashcards" or "Test".

In the first case, the tool shows you the word to be translated. It's up to you to remember its translation, if you don't remember, a click on the word and the card/fiche turns around virtually and displays the result. In the "Test" method, Wordeys will offer you a real quiz or you will have to answer in writing and translate every word on your list. After each answer you will be able to check with one click that you were not mistaken.

Note that you can choose to play theme way or version way and thus reverse the languages. Wordeys is implementing sharing functions that will give additional interest to the tool.

This will allow you to share your word lists with your students or with other users of the service. You will also be able to practice and retrieve lists of words created by other users. Finally, Wordeys also has in its cards the idea of proposing to its users to create lists of words with several.
