pocket is a great curation tool that makes it very easy to save any type of content found on the web. Save articles, videos and stories from any online publication. Slide your discoveries in your pocket to be able to come back, organize them, share them easily. One of the Best tools for backing up web pages.

Save everything with a click

Pocket is a particularly well-suited solution for the world of education and research. Like others Content Backup Tools, it offers a simple solution to put aside your finds during your searches or your wanderings on the web.

The platform offers multiple ways to capture and save content. The easiest way is still to install a small extension on your browser. Once in place, a click is enough when you are on an interesting web page to put the content in the ‘pocket’. You can also, thanks to a perfect integration with many applications, save directly without going through a browser. It is still possible to use a simple email to send content to your archives.

Well-ranked web content so you can easily use it afterwards

Pocket captures the content of any web page in a particularly readable format even if you still have the option to go from one click to the original page. The tool then offers you to classify your finds in collections. Each article can be tagged on the fly, which will then make it easier to search for content in the same theme.

Pocket still makes it possible to highlight passages of a web page so that you can then go to the essentials. You can also classify certain items in a separate category reserved for favorites.

The saved content can then be shared simply by email or on social networks. In use it is very intuitive and ultra practical. The interface is in French and hands-on is immediate.

Pocket, which I have been using personally for several years, has become a draft notebook that I would find difficult to do without. Do not necessarily entrust it with your valuable personal content, but the tool is really suitable for backup and sharing needs at all. You can save as much content as you want.

Web Backup

Pocket is free. A premium version improves the experience for around €30 per year. This pro version adds a few additional options, including a full-text search engine for all your saved content.

A great tool not to lose your finds made on the web.

The tool is available on the web, but also in the form of mobile applications for your smartphone or tablet.

    Hello,
A piece of information that I think is important and that I think should be included in your post (thank you for the latter): the Pocket tool was included in Firefox as an option, then bought by the Mozilla Foundation. This ensures a certain level of protection for the personal data managed by the tool, and in some way its sustainability within an open ecosystem.
