DoYouNotes and a funny application that offers a fairly effective system for reviewing and memorising courses for an exam or test. A smart service that allows you to install a regular routine to memorise course notes on your computer but also on your smartphone or tablet.
Learn and memorize in less time
DoYouNotes offers a way to study or revise course notes or books with some efficiency. The platform provides you with a kind of personal library where you will upload (in PDF format) your course notes, polycopies or books.
For each document, you will be able to identify passages or sections to study. By marking them you can add a title or a question. Once all the important passages have been marked and identified, you can start revising the document and review the sections one by one.
A cache and question system to check if an item is memorized
When you open your document, you will be able to navigate very easily through the parts that you have identified as important. These are displayed hidden. With one click you can remove the cache and access the original text. If you have inserted a question, you can answer in your head before unmasking the text to check. For each passage you have the choice between two options.
"I know the passage" In this case, DoYouNotes will propose you to move on to the next passage. The passage deemed acquired will be re-proposed for verification the following day.
‘I still need to see it again’ In this second option, DoYouNotes will come back and display it to you again after a dozen timers. Simple but effective.
You can mark as many passages or parts as you like and you can organize them as you like.
A useful tool for chuckling and reviewing large amounts of data. We are very far from more playful things like for example this other tool that allows to revise into songs, but the effectiveness and the target audience are not the same.
By the way, the service offers a single space to gather all the lecture notes or polycopies of one or more subjects, which is quite practical in itself.
You can use DoYouNotes for free with some limitations. A subscription of less than 2 € per month allows you to raise them.
