There is no longer any need to demonstrate the value of mind maps or heuristic maps at school. There is general agreement that the graphic representation of a mind map makes it easier to remember, among other things.

The uses are multiple: make understand a situation, learn a language, take notes, revise for an exam. The tools to create mind maps and in particular software are numerous. There are also simple and easy-to-use online tools. Here are three of them. Three tools that I have already had the opportunity to present. Three online services to create mind maps.
Table of Contents
Wise Mapping

A very easy-to-use service that allows mind maps to be made online from any modern browser. WiseMapping is available in English, but most menus are translated into French. Practical. Small help bubbles on each control allow different functions to be taken over. A good tool that can even be used without the need to register.

Mindomo

With Mindomo, we are in the field of safe values. It is a comprehensive and thought-out tool for education. It's hard to take him in default. Many models are available. The ability to add sound and video or a great presentation mode to turn a map into a slideshow makes Mindomo a great option. The counter game is a very limited free version. You will need a paid subscription to take full advantage of the tool.

MindMeister

Several million people use MindMeister not by chance. This service is also very comprehensive and is part of the leading group of pro tools for creating mind maps. The service that does not target the education market offers many interesting functions and among them the possibility to work collaboratively on a mind map. You can share your cards with groups of students or entire classes. Collaborative work in real time. You can also chat via a built-in chat.
Subscriptions start at just under 2 Eur per month.

Why not mention IHMC’s Cmaptools software, which is totally free and used by hundreds of universities around the world with the possibility of free accommodation in public places (notably that of Université Lyon2), which makes it possible to work on collaborative projects?
Well, just because I didn't know him. Thanks to you here is an additional resource. Thank you very much.
