After pushing the virtual doors to ten major European museums a few days ago, I propose you a new selection of great museums to visit from home. This time we cross the borders of old Europe to make a leap into ten major world museums. Some are well known, others perhaps a little less so. Follow the guide.
Table of Contents
National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico

This museum is dedicated to the archaeology and history of Mexico’s pre-Hispanic heritage. There are 23 exhibition halls filled with ancient artifacts, some of them from the Mayan civilization. Good ballad.

MASP, Sao Paulo Art Museum

This non-profit organisation is a private museum and it is also the first modern museum in Brazil. Rich in its collections, the MASP also shines through the scenography of its exhibitions. The works in his permanent collections are, for example, placed on transparent Plexiglas frames. This gives the incredible impression that the works float in the air.

Specialising in modern art, the museum contains the spiral staircase of the Guggenheim, available in the virtual tour. From there, it is possible to discover works of art from the Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary eras.

Los Angeles Getty Museum
Many European works of art dating from the 8th century can be found in this California art museum, including a huge collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, manuscripts and photographs. A major institution of great dynamism.
The proof with this incredible challenge launched in recent days to Internet users:
“recreate a work of art with the objects and people in your home” and then share the result in a photo. The results posted on Twitter are funny and particularly endearing in this rather dark period.
