Antidote is a tool for correcting and assisting the writing of a great power whose reputation is no longer to be made. It is arguably one of the best tools in its class. I have already said here all the good I think.
Antidote does not fall asleep on its laurels and now offers a smart proofreader, reference dictionaries and guides for English. You can even use a perfectly bilingual version and switch from French to English according to your needs.
Please note that this is not a translation tool. Antidote in English does the same thing and does it as well as its French version. You will be able to correct and remove the fault in your emails or documents written in English. Antidote, as in French, chases the blame, but also accompanies you in the stylistic improvement of your writings.
If you know how to use Antidote in French, you know how to use the English version. It works exactly the same way. And then if you start, you will see that the grip is clear. Antidote integrates with most office tools as well as with your browsers and email software. Always at hand, Antidote combines a particularly effective corrector and a series of reference dictionaries to remove all your doubts and improve your language level.
In pedagogical use, Antidote is just great for language students. When you submit a text for correction, Antidote immediately points out to you all the errors it has identified. But that is not all and it is one of the great strengths of this tool in the school context, Antidote will explain the problem detected. In other words, you will have the why of how and if that is not enough, you will even be able to call on the grammar course on which the tool relies to make proposals for correction. Also nice an "Anti-Oups" module for your emails. Each time you send an email, Antidote will automatically analyse the content of your email and notify you in case of error(s).
Antidote 9 runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. It is marketed in France by the company Mysoft. When purchasing, the user chooses the desired language: French or English. He can then purchase the module of the other language at a reduced price. The cost of Antidote is not negligible EUR 119 for a French or English version. Add an extra 40 EUR to have a full version in both languages. It is not given, but quality is at the rendezvous. Schools and training centres can acquire licenses in numbers. Importantly, the software support is in French.

In my entourage, many people write on tablet (iPad or Android) or even on Chromebook, but Druide continues to sulk all these potential customers despite invitations not to see only heavy OS.
So instead of thinking about the English-speaking public for whom there are already many things, when does one look at this neglected public?
Good morning Thierry. I am Laurent, working at Mysoft, Antidote’s distributor for France. Your comment is not justified for iOS. Druide was one of the first to offer applications on iPhone and iPad by offering Antidote’s reference books, namely dictionaries and language guides. Druide also improves these apps very regularly and develops iOS-specific features. For iPhone it is Antidote Mobile and for iPad it is Antidote Ardoise. These Antidote, so far, are only available for French, but I have no doubt that their equivalents for English are coming soon. However, Druide has not, to date, wanted to do the same for Android, which presents very specific technical difficulties (there is not an Android, but Android) and high risks of profitability.
